Rhonda Nolan is an illustrator, graphic designer and artist living in Toronto. Her work has been commissioned by many corporations and businesses over the years.
She uses a fluid watercolour/collage style for her illustrations, layered with glazes and text. She also likes to use found objects in her work. She is also a firm believer in illustrated journaling. Through journaling she lives a happier and healthier life.
She has been involved in organizing arts events in different communities over the years: the
Junction Arts Festival in Toronto, and the
Little Arts Show in Riverdale, Toronto. She is an active board member for the Junction Forum for Arts and Culture and feels strongly about bringing the arts to all.
As part of her belief that everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves through art, she co-ordinates an art program for the homeless in Toronto's inner city. From this she derives much inspiration and joy.
